Robert Ogden School provides education for autistic children and young people aged 5 to 19 (Year 1 - 14) who have been referred to the school by their local authority. Placements are made under the National Autistic Society contract. In August 2024 the school announced it would not be accepting new admissions until September 2025, with referrals not being considered until January 2025, though visits from local authority officers are welcome. Applications from outside the UK are subject to NAS policy requiring UK Local Authority funding and UK residency. The school offers full-time day places across the autism spectrum and maintains robust safeguarding procedures.
