At Barnwell Academy Daycare/Fully Barnwell Academy site: The Headteacher, Mr K Sadler, is responsible for the school; general welcome messages emphasize a secure, caring and stimulating learning environment, a friendly inclusive school, and a full curriculum with a wide range of out-of-school activities; the school motto is 'Learning Together and Having Fun.'

Admissions Criteria

Barnwell Daycare admits children in September, January and April (three intakes per school year). 0-2 years: care for babies up to age 2 with staff:child ratio 1:3 and funded childcare up to 30 hours for eligible working parents. 2-3 years: fee paying places alongside funded two-year-old places. 3-5 years: fee paying places alongside funded three-year-old places. Wrap around care before/after school times vary; contact the Daycare Office for arrangements.

Financial Information

Extra payments for funded hours (from 1 September 2025): Lunch £2.70; Tea £2.10; Full Day meal £4.25; Breakfast/mid session snack and milk: free. Extra session daycare fees per age group: 0-2: per session £34, per day £60, per week £280; 2-year-olds: per session £32, per day £58, per week £270; 3-5 years: per session £30, per day £56, per week £260. Concessions given to siblings (10%). Late collection fee: £6.45. Meals included in fees; refer to Daycare terms and conditions for more information.
