Admissions Criteria

Admission is based on 2014 code with priority order: 1) children who are ‘looked after’ and those who were adopted (or subject to Child Arrangements orders or special guardianship orders) immediately after being looked after; internationally adopted previously looked after children (IAPLAC). 2) other children with exceptional medical, social or other needs supported by a doctor/social worker/professional statement. 3) siblings (including half, step, adoptive and foster siblings) living at the same address. 4) those living closest to the school (distance measured in a straight line from home address point to the school main gate). Tie-breaker is distance; final tie-breaker random allocation for same-distance cases. In-year admissions handled directly by Barnet Council. For Reception, eligible if born 1 September to 31 August; online applications via eAdmissions; in-year and deferral options explained; summer-born policy guidance and deferral options outlined.
