Oakwood High School presents a welcome message from Executive Headteacher Chris Eccles and Head of School Phil Storey, expressing pride in the school, inviting engagement, and stating a commitment to delivering the best educational provision for the community.
Starting in Year 7 in September 2027. Parents/Carers of Year 6 students will receive a letter and a common application form from their primary school in early July 2026. Parents must complete the Rotherham Common Application Form and it should be returned to the Local Authority by 31 October 2026. To apply online go to the Local Authority admissions site (http://www.rotherham.gov.uk/schools). All preferences for Community/Academy/Trust Schools are considered equally in accordance with the Co-ordinated Scheme for Admission to Secondary Schools. Parents/carers are able to name up to three preferences on the Common Application Form. Applications must be returned to the Local Authority Admissions section by 31 October 2026 for consideration in the initial process.
