As a Church of England Primary School, St John’s aims to preserve and develop its religious character in accordance with the principles of the Church of England and in partnership with the Church at parish and diocesan level. The school aims to serve its community by providing an education of the highest quality within the context of Christian belief and practice, and promotes Christian values through the experience it offers to all its pupils.
Our mission is a simple one: 'Building A Firm Foundation for Learning and Caring' (Head Teacher: Danielle West-Gaul) with Christian values at the heart of school life.

Breakfast Club operating from 7:30am which includes a selection of food and various activities; After School Provision provides a comprehensive range of health and sporting activities across the curriculum and in after-school clubs.
St John’s is inclusive with a Graduated Approach to SEND; there is a named SENDCo (Mrs Rosie Monks); information is provided on the Local Offer and Rainbow Resource card; SEND policy and related documents are available (St John’s SEND Policy, SEND Report 2025-26).
