Curriculum Highlights

Thematic, mastery curriculum designed to engage and immerse pupils in their learning. Curriculum aims to develop independent, confident, resilient, aspirational learners who contribute to the community. Phonics and reading are central to the curriculum. Cross-curricular activities are planned when appropriate to embed skills in multiple contexts. Forest Schools and learning in outdoor environments are used to enrich learning. Pupil voice is encouraged through the Junior Leadership Team, School Councillors and Eco Warriors.

Each year we welcome 60 pupils into our school community. Applications for a place at Woodville are made through Essex County Council (Admissions Department) and are allocated using the criteria set out in the Admissions policy.
