Head of School Natalie Gordon introduces Hollinwood Academy, detailing her commitment to providing a caring, inspiring, creative and innovative environment with high safeguarding standards and strong partnerships with families. Before School Club runs every morning from 8am with a charge of £4.00 per day; breakfast is available. After School Club runs Monday to Thursday until 4:45pm with a charge of £5.00 per day; activities include soft play, Arts & Crafts, Tree Champions and sport.

SEND Provision

Hollinwood Academy provides an educational offer for children and young people with Autism Spectrum Condition (ASC) and Speech, Language and Communication Needs (SLCN). The school has a SEND Manager (Mrs C Watson) and a team of designated safeguarding leads. Parents can access the Oldham SEND Local Offer and the SEND Information, Advice and Support Service (SENDIASS). The school collaborates with external agencies (occupational therapy, physiotherapy, speech and language therapy) to support individual needs. The Oldham Multi-Agency Safeguarding Hub (MASH) can be contacted for safeguarding concerns. The New Bridge Multi Academy Trust (NB MAT) governance supports strong accountability and alignment with local authority SEND provision.

Admissions Criteria

Hollinwood Academy is an all-through school with a single entry point for non-EHCP children; non-EHCP places are for the reception class only. For queries about admissions or in-year admissions, contact the SEND Manager. The school policy is viewable/downloadable as part of the Admissions Policy.
