Curriculum Highlights

The UTC offers a 7-year curriculum plan mapped across KS3, KS4 and Sixth Form with Education Phase groupings (KS3 for Year 7 and 8, Transition Year for Year 9, KS4 for Years 10 and 11, and Sixth Form for Years 12 and 13). Curriculum is designed to equip pupils with knowledge and cultural capital to succeed beyond the UTC. Strong emphasis on STEAM subjects (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Maths). Employer mentors and extensive work experience are integrated into the curriculum. Employer-led, project-based curriculum with specialist facilities and a professional work environment. Partnerships with the University of Wolverhampton and TT MAT to support learners beyond graduation.
