Ethos & Values

"Let Your Light Shine"

Friendship Respect Perseverance Forgiveness Compassion Hope

Religious Education is taught with Christianity at the heart of the curriculum. The governors have agreed to follow the Diocese of Peterborough syllabus to deliver RE. Christianity will be taught for at least 50% of RE lessons. Other faiths studied include Hinduism and Judaism. The teaching aims to help pupils know about and understand Christianity as a diverse global living faith, understand other religions and worldviews, engage with big questions of meaning, and recognise religion’s influence on Britain’s cultural heritage.

Head Teacher's Message

The school has eight classrooms, a library, spacious grounds with a large playground and enclosed field, and close links with St Peter’s Church. We pride ourselves on high standards, academic success and developing our students; we are proud to be St Peter’s and to continue to Let Your Light Shine.
