Head Teacher's Message

Warm welcome from Headteacher Karina Garrick, emphasising opportunities for every child to fulfil their potential, a caring and inclusive ethos, strong home–school partnerships, community links through the Mossbourne Trust, and a wide range of after-school activities and wraparound care.

Curriculum Highlights

Knowledge-rich, inclusive and ambitious curriculum that enables every child to thrive (academically, socially and emotionally). Broad, balanced, and carefully sequenced curriculum with progression, depth, and coherence. Core knowledge and skills revisited and applied across subjects to build links and independence. Curriculum designed to be stimulating, engaging and memorable with opportunities for exploration, creativity, and challenge. Core values of Respect, Responsibility, Compassion, Courage and Honesty underpin teaching and learning. NEW CURRICULUM COMING FOR SEPTEMBER 2025. Phonics-led reading approach (synthetic phonics using Letters and Sounds) for EYFS/KS1; reading guidance and home reading books. British Values taught through PHSE and embedded throughout the curriculum.

SEND Provision
