All students have an Education and Health Care Plan (EHCP), reviewed annually. Progress and attainment are assessed three times a year. The school works in cooperative and productive partnership with the Local Authority and other outside agencies to ensure a multi-professional approach to meeting students’ needs.
Admissions are controlled by Bradford Local Authority; pupils are usually admitted to the main school in September. Direct requests for placement from parents/carers or other local authorities are not accepted. For admissions to Hazelbeck Sixth Form, all applicants must have an EHCP and admission is considered on a case-by-case basis in discussion with the Headteacher and Local Authority.
