"Enjoy, achieve, excel, excite, one vision, one community, new heights"
On behalf of Chellow Heights, welcome to our two-site special school. We are proud of our community, pupils and their successes. Our Ofsted inspection (June 2023) rated us GOOD in all areas. Our mission is to provide a personalised, challenging, and supportive education, helping pupils to learn and achieve their potential within a safe, nurturing environment.
Chellow Heights is a primary school for pupils with special educational needs (ages 2–11). Admissions are controlled by the Local Authority (LA). Most pupils placed have a cognition and learning need and may also have additional sensory, physical, medical or social and emotional/mental health needs, or autism. All admissions go through the LA SEND Admissions process; the LA SEND Placement Panel considers each case. The school is oversubscribed; direct placing requests from parents are not accepted. If named in an EHCP/Statement, the school will begin admissions paperwork in coordination with families and the nursing team.
