The school’s SEND provisions are led by the SENDCO (Anna Vickers). The SEND policy, accessibility plans and SEND report provide details on the approach and offer. The SENDCO works with teachers and support staff to identify needs and liaise with a range of statutory professionals to ensure correct diagnosis and support, following a 3-wave model.

Admissions Criteria

Longsight Community Primary has capacity for 210 pupils. For reception starting in September 2026, places are confirmed by mid-April 2026 after an online application window typically August to January. Applications for reception are via a Reception class application form; in-year applications are through Manchester City Council. The final deadline for Reception typically follows the council’s admissions timetable, with spaces available throughout the year depending on availability.
