Head Teacher's Message

Headteacher Mr Jack Arnold emphasizes a vision where all children are academically, socially and emotionally prepared, with a curriculum that teaches knowledge and skills and celebrates six core values: Confidence, Resilience, Courage, Respect, Compassion and Responsibility.

Curriculum Highlights

Curriculum focused on four key areas: Character, Knowledge, Skills and Meta-Learning (learning how to learn). Phonics taught with the Little Wandle/ Little Wandles programmes; daily phonics for Reception and Year 1; Nursery foundations; reading fluency sessions for Reception to Year 3. SEND adaptations include Widget and Colourful Semantics to support access, with additional supports such as Now and Next cards and modelled letter formation.
