SEND Provision

Firbeck Academy is an inclusive mainstream school. The SEND policy aims to provide every child with access to a broad and balanced education, identify pupils with Special Educational Needs early, monitor progress, provide appropriate provision to overcome barriers to learning, involve parents in all stages, work with outside agencies when required, create a safe environment for pupils to voice their needs, and employ the Zones of Regulation framework to support self-regulation and emotion management.
