Curriculum Highlights

The curriculum aims to prepare children to understand the world around them and prepare them for the next stage of their education. Portsmouth City Council coordinates all admissions to the Reception class at Beacon View Primary Academy. Beacon View welcomes children from a range of nursery schools, other settings or from home. Transfer from pre-school to Reception is not automatic. In-year transfers are handled by Portsmouth City Council.
