Welcome to Highgate Primary Academy. The principal, Mrs L Sunley, expresses pride in leading a vibrant and welcoming school and a commitment to Making a Difference—to students, families and the wider world; emphasises giving every child the best start and working closely with families and the community.
Clubs
Breakfast Club runs Monday-Friday, 7:45–8:45, for children from Reception to Year 6, located in the school hall. Children are offered toast or cereal with a drink; dietary requirements catered for. Booking is via the MCAS system; fee is £2.50 per session and must be paid in advance through MCAS (no cash accepted). First aid is available; safeguarding procedures are followed; accidents are recorded and parents informed. Cancellation may occur if the school is closed or there are problems with the building; refunds are not given if the club is cancelled or the child does not attend.
Inclusion Team includes SEND Co-ordinator and Inclusion Leader/Family Liaison Officer/Designated Safeguard Lead; SMSAs are part of the team.
Breakfast Club fee is £2.50 per session. Payment is in advance via the MCAS cashless system; no cash payments accepted. No arrears will be permitted. Booking via MCAS. If school cancels the club or a child does not attend, refunds are not given; the balance is carried forward.
