Curriculum Highlights

Three main priorities: a nurturing approach, acquisition of language and raising aspirations. The Reading Enhanced Curriculum immerses children in reading in every subject. Underpinning all areas of the curriculum is the vital skill of language acquisition. Early reading is emphasised from the start of school (EYFS) and the curriculum focuses on language development and oracy. Progress is defined as the widening and deepening of essential knowledge and skills across subjects.
