The school aims to develop knowledge of Christianity and other world religions, reflect on personal experiences, and celebrate diversity; Gospel Values include Perseverance, Acceptance, Respect, Service, Faith and Kindness.
Welcome to St George’s CVA. Headteacher Mrs. Rachael Snowdon-Poole describes the school as a mid‑sized, diverse Catholic primary in Littleover, Derby with approximately 350 pupils, part of the St Ralph Sherwin CMAT. The school is described as ‘Outstanding’ by Ofsted (May 2024) and ‘Good’ in the Diocese Canonical Inspection, with 6 of 9 inspection areas rated Outstanding. The mission is “Grow in faith, have faith in growing,” and the aim is for pupils to have faith in themselves, in others, and in God. Visitors are welcome for open days or guided tours.
