Welcome to Skegness Junior Academy! The Executive Principal describes a tailored, broad curriculum designed to equip children with foundational skills and knowledge for the primary curriculum and beyond, notes close collaboration with the Skegness Infant Academy, and communicates high aspirations and engagement with parents.

The curriculum is based upon a thematic approach, providing breadth of learning across a number of curriculum areas. The themes are based upon the local area, events and festivals in the year, national events and creativity. Admissions Criteria

Pupils are admitted at age 7+ without reference to ability or aptitude. Admission is not dependent on any ‘voluntary’ contribution. Year 3 has 90 places. Admissions are via Lincolnshire County Council; in-year admissions are co-ordinated by the local authority. Appeals are handled by an Independent Appeals Panel.
