Admissions Criteria

Kibblesworth Academy has capacity for 210 pupils from Reception to Year 6 (30 per year group). Admissions packs for Primary places are distributed by Gateshead Council in Autumn; applications must be returned to Gateshead Council (not to the school) and can be made online. The Local Authority is the admissions authority and will issue receipts; the school has no access to outcome information. Visits are encouraged for children who did not attend the Nursery; Open Evening for new starters with staff; staggered entry system; mid-year transitions may be arranged depending on places. Free school meals are available for all Reception, Year 1 and Year 2 pupils.

2025–2026 charges for Core Wraparound Care, Afterschool Clubs, School Meals and Visits: Breakfast club (nursery–Year 6) 7:45–8:45, £4.50 per day; must book via the School website and PrePay.
