Welcome from Headteacher Danny Edwards. The message emphasizes high academic standards within a safe, supportive environment and a Cox Green Way built on kindness, respect, and determination, with a focus on helping every student realise their potential and become responsible, well-rounded citizens.

Admissions Criteria

For September 2026, Cox Green School offers 210 places. Allocation by designated area: 127 places; non-designated area with sibling: 16 places; all others: 61 places. Other criteria include Children in Care 0, Social and Medical 0, Non-Designated Area & Priority Linked School 0, Children of Staff 0. Applications must be made through the Local Authority. National offer day is 2 March 2026; deadline to respond to the offer is 15 March 2026; deadline to submit late applications is 15 March 2026. Second round of allocations begins 6 April 2026. Year 6 into Year 7 transition days are scheduled for 30 June 2026 and 1 July 2026 for allocated/confirmed spaces; induction events follow.
