"Proud to Belong and Proud to Achieve"
Welcome from the Headteacher: Woolmer Hill is a successful mixed, comprehensive academy of approximately 900 students aged 11–16, located on the outskirts of Haslemere. The school emphasises an inclusive ethos, mutual respect and high expectations, with a focus on nurturing curious, life-long learners. It is a member of the Weydon Multi Academy Trust and collaborates with post-16 partners; the site includes The Edge sports centre and other extensive facilities on a 25-acre site.
Woolmer Hill School is part of the Weydon Multi Academy Trust and for the 2026–27 academic year will offer 180 places for September 2026. Places are allocated based on the WMAT Admissions Policy, with children who have an Education, Health and Care Plan naming the school allocated a place before other applicants. If you are a Surrey resident, you will be contacted on 2 March 2026 with the outcome and must accept the offer by 16 March. If you miss the initial window, late requests may be considered. Applications can be made online via Surrey CC; WMAT admissions Officer Liz Crosby can provide guidance at [email protected] or 01428 654055. Further information is available via the WMAT Admissions Policy and Surrey’s online admissions pages. Waiting lists are used if no place is offered, and offers must be accepted within two weeks.
