SEND Provision

Gordano School provides SEND provisions including Core Support (numeracy and literacy) delivered by SEND experienced teachers; a classroom dedicated to SEND pupils (Student Support); a sensory break/quiet room (Student Support 2); a dedicated SEMH-oriented learning space (Learning Support 3); The Compass, initially for Year 7 pupils with EHCPs, a small-group provision with a Sensory Room and targeted interventions; Emotionally Based School Avoidance Programme; Enhanced Transition in collaboration with feeder primary schools; ASD Provision under development with Local Education Authority involvement.
