Curriculum Highlights

Early Years Foundation Stage (EYFS) framework with seven areas of learning and development, including three prime areas (Communication and Language, Physical Development, Personal, Social and Emotional Development) and four specific areas (Literacy, Mathematics, Understanding the World, Expressive Arts and Design). The curriculum supports learning through play with open-ended, child-initiated experiences and adult-led activities; emphasis on the Learning Journey and WOW moment observations, feeding into curriculum planning. Tapestry is used as an electronic assessment tool for parents to access observations and learning. KS1 and KS2 long-term plans are agreed for each key stage; cross-curricular planning is used to make relevant links, with some subjects taught discretely to develop depth. Subjects include Art and Design; Computing and Online Safety; Design and Technology; English; French; Geography; History; Mathematics; Music; PE; PSHE; Religious Education; Science.

Wraparound Care

Breakfast Club: Yes After-School Care: Yes

Wraparound care is provided by the school's dedicated team and takes place in the School Hall. Breakfast Club runs from 8:00am to 8:40am (cost £5) and Afterschool Club runs from 3:25pm with options: 3:25pm–5:00pm (£9.80), 3:25pm–5:30pm (£12.00), or 4:30pm–5:30pm (£6.25). Breakfast is included in the hourly fee; a snack is provided in the afternoon; children booked into wraparound care are escorted to designated areas for transitions.
