St Edward’s College has an explicitly Catholic culture, is part of the Laetare Catholic Multi Academy Trust, and is the choir school to the Liverpool Metropolitan Cathedral. The school is guided by the charism of Blessed Edmund Rice with strong Catholic life and chaplaincy, and seeks to live out its mission through faith, service and leadership.
