Headteacher Nicola Raggett welcomes students and families and emphasises partnership between staff, students, parents/carers and governors to support wellbeing and academic achievement.

Curriculum Highlights

Seven faculties: English, Maths, PE, Modern Foreign Languages, Humanities, Arts, Science KS3–KS5 pathway with option choices and a curriculum that includes PSHE and careers within the program Careers guidance and one-to-one advice as part of the PSHE program, off-timetable days and year-group events Subjects within Science include Biology, Chemistry, Physics, Psychology and Computer Science Citizenship taught in PSHE with a focus on British values such as democracy, the rule of law, liberty, tolerance and mutual respect

The school uses oversubscription criteria including Looked After/Previously Looked After children, Siblings, Children of staff, and Distance; priority is given to children with a statement of special educational needs or an EHCP; there is a waiting list kept in oversubscription order and appeals process described.
