Welcome to Town End Academy. The Headteacher Christine Robson describes the school as a vibrant, supportive and welcoming community focused on providing the best learning experiences, placing children at the centre, and developing confident, thoughtful, resilient learners through an engaging curriculum and emphasis on PSHE and British values.
Town End Academy is non-selective and follows the locally co-ordinated admissions scheme. After admitting students with a statement of SEN, followed by Looked After children, the admissions policy prioritises brothers and sisters of children at the school and those living closest to the Academy. The Admissions PAN (permitted admission number) is 30; this means this year we will admit up to 30 pupils into our Reception class.
