Admissions Criteria

Norton Hill is oversubscribed for all year groups. All Year 7 admissions are through the local council (BANES). The catchment area includes the Norton-Radstock area known as Westfield, and the villages Clutton, Farmborough, Farrington Gurney, Hallatrow and High Littleton (Temple Cloud is not included). If an application is refused, parents have the right to appeal to an Independent Appeals Panel. Year 11 admissions to Norton Hill are not accepted at any time of the academic year due to GCSE modules spanning a 2-year period.
