Welcome to KESH. We are an oversubscribed 11-18 Academy serving a vibrant and diverse community. As part of KE Academy Trust Birmingham, our vision is to enable students to reach the highest personal and academic standards. SEND Provision

The SENDCO is Mrs Lucy Jensen. SEND Policy (2024-25) and SEND Information Report (2025-26) are published. Students with SEND are entitled to respect and understanding from peers and teachers. Support staff work with teachers to support SEND, with additional support to improve reading, writing and mathematical skills where appropriate. All Birmingham schools share a Local Offer for SEND information, and parents are encouraged to attend review meetings to contribute to student profiles. Admissions Criteria

If applications exceed places, prioritisation follows: Looked After Children/Previously Looked After Children; Children with a sibling at the Academy; Children who live nearest the school (priority to those nearest by straight-line distance). For admission into all other year groups, contact the Academy. The Academy has a Published Admission Number (PAN) of 210 per year group.

Financial Information

Parents/guardians will not have to pay fees to send their children to the Academy (state-funded).
