Ethos & Values

"Be brave. Be bold. Be Belvedere."

We know that education gives us confidence and we celebrate everyone's different successes. We have high expectations which we achieve by thinking creatively, setting clear goals and developing self-belief. We celebrate diversity and uniqueness, give everybody a voice and accept everyone for who they are. We embrace the importance of caring for and respecting each other, our families and the environment. We recognise the importance of doing our best.

Head Teacher's Message

It is my privilege to lead The Belvedere Academy as it continues to grow. Pupils who attend this school can be assured that they will quickly feel part of a supportive community; in addition, they will be stretched both in their academic work and in their extra-curricular experiences. Ultimately, they will develop into skilled young people ready to accept the challenges of the twenty-first century.

Curriculum Highlights

Curriculum Intent: Put simply, we want all our pupils to: 'Know more, remember more and do more over time'. The curriculum is Rich in knowledge which offers both a personalised and an inclusive approach to learning. Broad and balanced which is supported by extra curricular activities that broadens pupils’ horizons and develops their independence. Instilling a love of learning for our pupils across all subject areas. Adapted sufficiently to meet the needs of all pupils and one that enables them to progress smoothly into their next phase of education, be it Upper School, Sixth Form or apprenticeships / university.
