Clubs
Sports
The Phoenix Before & After School Club provides before and after school care for children from Foundation Stage to year 6. It is open from 8:00am to 8:35am and 3:15pm to 6:00pm on every school day. To adhere to social distancing guidance, the club is operating in a reduced capacity with priority given to the children of critical workers, and spaces may be limited.
The school runs specialist Speech and Language Resource (SAL) and Language and Literacy Resource (LAL) to support pupils with speech, language and literacy needs. Access is through EHCPs where applicable, and the resources operate in integration with the main school to help pupils return to mainstream education when appropriate.
Reception to Year 6 admissions are handled by West Berkshire Admissions Team; children enter in the September after their fourth birthday with an application deadline of 15 January; Nursery admissions are managed with an earlier policy (term after turning three) and may include 30 hours extended childcare; details and guides are available on the West Berkshire Council website and via the school’s admission forms and policy pages.
