Woodland is an inclusive, aspirational and caring school with modern facilities (library, two large halls, expansion of seven classrooms) and a strong commitment to safeguarding and wellbeing. Woodland After School Club (External) is run by a private company and is based in the school hall after school each day from 3.15pm-6.00pm. The club also runs a Holiday Club from 7.30am-6.00pm during school holidays. Fees: Out Of Hours Club (After School 3.15pm-6pm) £18.55 per session, £84.30 weekly; Holiday Club £35.65 per session, £163.15 weekly. A light snack and access to water and fruit are provided; fees apply even if a child is absent unless pre-arranged. Full fees are required for any absence due to illness. Allergies/dietary requirements can be accommodated. No valuables allowed; electronics not permitted.

SEND Provision

Woodland has an Inclusion Team and SENDCo (Miss Rochelle Stannard) as part of the safeguarding and inclusion framework. The safeguarding section describes a commitment to preventing harm, protecting pupils, and supporting their well-being, with regular training for staff and involvement of pupils in assemblies and online safety activities. SEND-related resources and supports are listed under the Inclusion section.
