Kings Oak Primary follows the Local Authority’s coordinated admissions framework. Priority for Reception places is determined in this order: Children in Public Care; children with a statement of SEND; siblings of pupils already attending the school; then those living closest to the school. All admissions decisions are made by the Local Authority. The school has an intake number of 60 for Reception (and 60 for other year groups). Nursery admissions are described separately. If a place is refused, parents have the right to appeal to the Independent Appeals Tribunal via the Local Authority.
