Headteacher Jamie Nielsen describes Include Norfolk as a specialist independent provision for 14- to 16-year-olds whose needs cannot be met in mainstream schools. The school uses a wrap-around, trauma-informed, relationship-based approach with a full-time counsellor and pastoral staff, aiming to help pupils achieve 5+ Level 2 qualifications and progress to post-16 destinations, including CCN and CoWA.
A strong wrap-around approach at Include Norfolk enables learners to build their confidence, overcome barriers to learning and progress to a positive next step in their lives.
All students are fully supported with their SEN and/or SEMH needs.
We receive referrals from headteachers in conjunction with Norfolk County Council, and from The Short Stay School for Norfolk.
