We are a school of all faiths and none, welcoming children and families from all religious backgrounds.
Sally Cox, Head Teacher, describes Springmead as a small school with a big ambition and bags of character. The aim is to ignite a passion for learning and life, with exciting lessons and a broad enrichment program, supported by small classes and strong staff pastoral care.

Admission is non-selective. After visiting the school and meeting the Head Teacher, families are invited to a taster day where a basic informal assessment of spelling, reading and maths, as well as behaviour, is conducted. A non-refundable registration fee of £100 is required, with a refundable deposit of £400 to secure a place. Entry can be into Reception to Year 6, with start dates agreed with the school.
Termly Fees (Autumn Term 2025): Reception £3,898 total (£3,248 base + £650 VAT); Year 1–2 £4,000 total (£3,333 base + £667 VAT); Year 3–6 £4,336 total (£3,613 base + £723 VAT). Catering £610. Military discount 30% for military families. Registration £100; Acceptance Deposit £400. Breakfast Club 7:15–8:00 £5.50. Before school & holiday club 8:00–8:30 (Free). After-school care 3:30–6:00 (£4 per half hour; tea at 4pm). Lunchtime clubs Free. After-school clubs 3:30–4:30 £9.60.
