Sally Cox, Head Teacher, describes Springmead as a small school with a big ambition and bags of character. The aim is to ignite a passion for learning and life, with exciting lessons and a broad enrichment program, supported by small classes and strong staff pastoral care.

Admissions Criteria

Admission is non-selective. After visiting the school and meeting the Head Teacher, families are invited to a taster day where a basic informal assessment of spelling, reading and maths, as well as behaviour, is conducted. A non-refundable registration fee of £100 is required, with a refundable deposit of £400 to secure a place. Entry can be into Reception to Year 6, with start dates agreed with the school.
