There is mutual respect between staff and pupils and between pupils and their peers within a safe environment with the highest standards of pastoral care, and the schools have a common Christian ethos.
King’s Bruton is a boarding and day school, which places a very high value on a genuinely holistic education in which every individual pupil is given an opportunity to flourish and develop. It is a smaller school that punches above its weight, offering breadth and quality of education. The school emphasizes community, character and fun, with outstanding pastoral care. Recent achievements include outstanding GCSE, A Level and BTEC results, most pupils going on to their first-choice university, strong sport and performing arts, a 200-seat theatre, a large choir, and a thriving Duke of Edinburgh program.
