"Caring for All: Learning for Life"
Religious Education is taught using the Wakefield Agreed RE syllabus. Pupils attend the church of St George’s regularly to take part in activities linked to RE learning. Nursery visits church; Remembrance, Christingle and choir involvement are part of RE experiences. The curriculum covers Christianity and other religions with opportunities for discussion and reflection, and parents may withdraw their child from RE topics upon request.
Welcome from Head Teacher Mr Paul Birdsall, emphasising an inclusive, caring school with strong pastoral care, a broad and balanced curriculum, close partnership with families and governors, and a focus on helping every child reach their potential in English and maths.
