Emma Skae, Principal, welcomes visitors and emphasises a broad, ambitious curriculum and a warm, safe environment where students are supported to achieve their best. The academy is part of United Learning and aims to bring out the best in everyone.

An Inclusion team led by SENCo Sadiya Chaudhri; Inclusion Quality Mark (IQM) awarded for outstanding inclusive practice; SEN and EAL departments deliver personalised intervention programmes to meet individual learning needs; in-school support and links with external agencies as needed.

Oversubscription criteria include: Education Health Care Plan (EHCP); children in public care; medical or social need (case by case); child of a staff member employed for two years or more or recruited to fill a vacant post; siblings already in the Academy; children in Year 6 at Walthamstow Primary Academy; distance from the Academy with closer distances admitted first (historical distance data provided).
