Welcome from the Head Teacher Miss Marie Jarvis, who describes Parkview as a special place where families are welcome, learning is engaging and safeguarding and well-being are priorities. The site emphasizes a welcoming, safe learning environment and invites visits to experience the school.
First Friends Wraparound Care operates at Parkview Primary School and can offer childcare from 7:30am Monday - Friday and from the end of the school day, until 6pm Monday-Friday. The club is Ofsted registered and run by fully qualified staff. The club provides healthy and nutritious breakfasts and afternoon snacks during term time. You can use 30 hour funding/or part of, and you can also use the government voucher scheme for payment.
1) Children who are looked after in the care of, or accommodated by Derby City Council or another local authority. 2) Children living in the normal area who have siblings in school at the time of admission. 3) Other children in the normal area at the time of admission. 4) Children outside normal area who have brothers and sisters in school at the time of their admission. 5) Other children whose parents have expressed a preference for Parkview. Admissions are decided by a straight line measurement from the centre of the main dwelling to the school using National Ordnance Survey set points. Parkview initially offers 30 Reception places for September with possible deferral under National policy.
