Head Teacher's Message

North Liverpool Academy is at the heart of the local community and is committed to working with local businesses and residents to be a true community school. The Academy provides a first class education and equips students for 21st century learning – regardless of background or ability. Our curriculum challenges the gifted and talented students as well as providing enhanced teaching for those with special educational and complex learning needs.

SEND Provision

The Inclusion Team provides high-quality inclusive education and supports students with social, emotional and mental health needs, SEND, attendance or behaviour concerns, and those who require additional pastoral or academic support. The team emphasises safeguarding and consists of: Vice Principal – Inclusion; Director of Inclusion/Designated Safeguarding Lead; Inclusion Manager/Deputy Designated Safeguarding Lead; Year Leaders; School Counsellor; Safer Schools Police Officer; Inclusion & Reflection Centre Lead; and a Behaviour Mentor.

Admissions Criteria

Year 7 admissions: Complete the local authority online application and select North Liverpool Academy as first preference. Download and return the Additional Information Form to NLA or via email. Schedule and attend the school pre-admission assessment test; on the specified date and time, bring your child to sit the test. If your child does not complete the assessment, we may not be able to process your application.
