Millais is open to students Monday to Friday from 8:05am to 5:00pm (including After Schools Clubs).

SEND Provision

Millais provides SEND support through the SEND Team (SENDCo, Deputy SENDCo and Learning Support Assistants) working with the Inclusion Manager and Learning Mentors, including Wave 1 access to the National Curriculum differentiated to individual needs; Wave 2 literacy and numeracy interventions (e.g. Lexia Power Up); Wave 3 personalised literacy/numeracy teaching for Years 7-9 (often EHCP); a GCSE Study Support option; in-class support from Learning Support Assistants; social and emotional nurture groups; bespoke mentoring; Dyslexia support; access to external counsellors; and collaboration with external agencies (e.g. CAMHS, NHS, Youth Emotional Support, etc.).

Admissions Criteria

Admissions are managed by West Sussex County Council. For September 2026, Millais will welcome boys into Year 7 (50/50 boy/girl split) with a PAN of 300; authoritatively, admissions criteria are managed by WSCC and details are on the WSCC website.
