Admissions Criteria

Year 7 admissions require reports or a school reference, an online assessment (English proficiency, non-verbal and quantitative reasoning), a short piece of up to 100 words, and a team-building activity; taster days are offered. Year 9 admissions require online assessments covering verbal, non-verbal, spatial reasoning, Maths and English plus a third written paper (About Me, 300 words) completed on Assessment Day, along with reports and references; pupils may also join Taster Days or Overnight Tasters (for boarders). The school also invites Year 9 pupils and parents to a Welcome Evening and a day-in-School visit before term starts. These processes, assessments, and references are part of the admissions journey.
