Admissions Criteria

All pupils have an Education, Health and Care Plan. Pupil places are allocated through the Integrated Children's Disability Service (ICDS) at Nottinghamshire County Council. Entry includes an open morning tour (and other visits as needed), a transitions programme with parents and the current placement, and staff support. A baseline assessment is carried out within seven weeks of entry with interim targets; a new starter meeting in the first term; termly parent open sessions; availability of places is limited and not guaranteed until ICDS approves. The school conducts a consultation with ICDS prior to confirming a placement.
