We offer grants to support young people in Nottingham who are experiencing the effects of poverty. Our primary objective is to enhance educational and recreational opportunities for individuals under the age of 18 living in the city, focusing on applicants who have limited access to other funding sources. By providing these grants, we aim to empower young people, helping them to engage in activities that foster personal growth, skill development, and social inclusion, thereby improving their overall well-being and future prospects. Our resources come from investment income, donations from local businesses and former pupils, occasional legacies, and collections; every penny raised goes to help the young people (except audit costs).
Admission involves Online Enquiry, Online Application, and Entrance Assessments or School Readiness Sessions for Reception or Entrance Assessment for Year 1–Year 10. Offers are typically made after assessments/interviews, with deadlines including early November for bursaries and early December for full-fee places. Readiness to learn and age/grade requirements are evaluated during admissions processes.
