Headmaster welcome: Ermysted’s is one of England’s oldest schools; emphasises a first-class education for boys aged 11–18, development of character, resilience and self-confidence, and a nurturing, inclusive community with extensive extra-curricular opportunities.

Oversubscription criteria when more applicants reach the required standard than places available: 1) Looked-after or previously looked-after children; 2) Applicants in the catchment area; 3) Applicants outside the catchment area.
