Welcome message from Headteacher Heidi Philpott emphasising Building Successful Futures, a caring and safe learning environment, collaboration with staff, pupils and families, and a focus on outstanding teaching and personalised curriculum.
All pupils have an Educational Health and Care Plan (EHCP) identifying learning difficulties and associated complex needs; all pupils have a Personalised Learning Plan; interventions are provided internally for physical and sensory needs, communication and interaction, and social, emotional and mental health, with access to external professionals such as a school counsellor, an Occupational Therapist, an Educational Psychologist and a Speech and Language Therapist.
Admissions are managed by the Local Authority for complex needs schools; pupils must have an Education Health and Care Plan (EHCP); decisions about placement are made by the Local Authority; transport is arranged by the Local Authority; transition arrangements are discussed if a place is gained.
School lunches are charged at £3.50 per day and paid via the My Child at School app; packed lunches are available for trips; medical diets can be provided with medical evidence; meals are cooked on site by Edwards and Blake.
