Ethos & Values

As a body of believers in Jesus Christ We rejoice that God is supreme over all creation and embrace a Christ-centred worldview. We aim to provide an excellent education, developing our curriculum and teaching so pupils can achieve their full potential. We seek to support parents in the Christian upbringing of their children, preparing them for life outside school and the home. We aim to make our school a place where children can be children, who love their school, enjoy their teachers, laugh and play, discover, design and create, and build life-long friendships. We nurture and encourage our pupils through Biblical teaching and Christian modelling to become joyful learners, creative thinkers and humble servants of God. We seek to function in an atmosphere of mutual love, integrity, respect and forgiveness through the power of the Holy Spirit. We express our love for Jesus Christ in all aspects of education, in all personal relationships, and in how we manage the affairs of the school.

Christian Education invites young people to see and understand the world through the perspective of God’s truth. The Bible becomes the lens through which students view what they are learning. The lens focuses their thinking on ultimate truth—a biblical vision for life where God created and sustains the world, and where history is advancing toward a new creation in which all things are reconciled to God through Jesus. Christian education also informs a Christian way of living where followers are called to Follow Him, in partnership with parents and the school community.
