Wraparound Care

After-School Care: Yes

Wraparound care to extend the school day is available from the first minibus pick up at 7:25am to late minibus departure at 5:20pm. Prep pupils may arrive from 8:00am and are supervised before registration begins. Following the end of the school day, there is Prep (homework) club or a wide variety of co-curricular after-school clubs to choose from which extend the day until 5:10pm. The school day runs from 8:25am to 4:10pm, with After School Clubs from 4:10pm to 5:10pm.

Admissions Criteria

Admissions involve arranging a visit, registering, a familiarisation day with assessment of academic ability, wider interests, character and readiness, an offer of a place, and a deposit to confirm the place. There is a contract on completion of the admissions procedure, with the Head reserving the right to defer entry. The school notes bursaries and a Head’s Recommendation Pathway for senior schools as part of the admissions landscape.

Fees cover the core teaching day and there are three terms in each academic year. Fees are payable termly in advance by direct debit. A full term’s notice of removal must be given or a term’s fees paid in lieu. A deposit is required to reserve a place. The Governors reserve the right to increase fees with one term’s notice. The Fees page also notes that fees include school lunch, pupil personal accident and dental insurance, and a Chromebook for Years 4-6; extras include after-school clubs, instrument tuition, learning support, LAMDA, and residential trips. A bursary scheme is available and there is information about a Head’s Recommendation pathway for senior schools, as well as a Minibus service.
