Curriculum Highlights

Music is a central component of daily life (double choir school with choristers and quiristers). Sports and the creative arts are emphasised as part of a broad, balanced education. Forestry/Forest School features as part of the curriculum. IT and computing facilities integrated across the curriculum. Pastoral care and well-being are emphasised as part of a holistic approach.

Admissions Criteria

Entry points: Reception (4+), Years 3 and 4 (8+/9+). Boys sometimes join other year groups. Entry is by a taster day, which includes entry tests (maths, English, non-verbal reasoning) and plenty of time to get-to-know-the-school. Older pupils may have interviews with specialist teachers and, where applicable, offers are made in writing soon after the taster day. Place is confirmed on receipt of a completed contract, an acceptance deposit, and a confidential report from the current school (if applicable). Boarding starts from Year 4; choral scholars join in Year 4 and Year 5. For admissions, contact [email protected].
